Rubber lined pipe for hot media, lined with heat-resistant butyl or EPDM compounds for service temperatures up to about 110–120 °C. Used in hot chemical solution transport, hot water circuits and process lines where standard soft rubber would age too quickly. Bonding system and vulcanization schedule are adjusted for thermal cycling, and the lining is verified by spark and adhesion testing.
